A Dream is the visualization of a recurring dream Angelique had after having fractured her hip.
We see an anxious and confused woman in shorts and a shirt on crutches, Angelique following another woman, sharply dressed and stoically striding through a building, down the hall, uo the stairs, non-responsive to the shouting of her name: “Liesbeth…! Liesbeth…!” The harder it becomes for the confused woman on crutches to follow, the more she panics, especially since the other woman doesn’t react to her cries and doesn’t seem to care at all. It is a rivalry and jealousy that comes with a growing but still immature individuality.
